Elegant White Indian Elephant Statue

This style of decorative elephant statue has been popular since the late 20th century. This piece was made in the 1980s. It is an original. 

Material: The statue is made of white stone or a stone-like material. Given its uniform color and texture, it's likely made of a synthetic material designed to mimic stone, such as resin or a composite material. It is a very durable material. 

Design origin: The design of this elephant statue is clearly inspired by Indian art and culture. The intricate patterns on the elephant's body, including the detailed blanket (called a howdah) on its back, and the overall ceremonial appearance are characteristic of Indian elephant depictions. Such decorated elephants are often associated with Indian festivals and ceremonies.

It is about 8 inches in height and about 12 inches in length.
